Time to be 'girlish'

Was blogging about going to the new Uniqlo mega store at 313 Orchard previously. Went there again and try my luck to get a sweater that I saw during my previous trip. My size was not available and was not keen to get it in the men's version.

What caught my eyes were 2 polo dresses in both black as well as blue and these were made from Supima (extra fine cotton). These were retailing for SGD 49 and were on special offer. The downside was the belts were missing and was fine with there as I could go belt-less.

Initally, I thought it was SGD 14.90 and decided to get the black. Had taken out my credit card and was prepared to pay at this price. However, the figure was SGD 9.90 and was happy with this purchase. I couldnt purchase the blue as the queue for payment was long.

In the end, I went back to get the blue dress within the same day (few hours apart).

PS : Glad that there was a mega opening sale in this store. Some items were good buys. However, the crowd did created a mess in the store and you could see people from different walks of life came in to shop.

Honestly, I dont really like the idea of wearing the same top as everybody else and felt that the crowd could have 'cheapened' the brand image. Would rather prefer this brand to remain exclusive instead just like H & M.

PPS : I didnt queue during all those times when I was there at 313.
