JC, I decide to do this segment as many of us would like to scout for items that are easy for our pockets. As for me, I'm trying very hard to be more creative in terms of my spending.
One of the places that I like to patronise and source my wares is
Daiso coz everything costs
SGD 2. To me, this is my haven for my buys and feel like a kid in a candy shop. But I really need to restrict myself to buy more
coz it could lead to impulsive buying.
SL is always around to 'monitor' my buying habits.
You can practically buy almost everything from this famous retail chain. It is also a place where you cant have second thoughts of buying the item(s) that you have desired. Coz the shipments are irregular and some of the products are not replenished weekly. There were times when I contemplated to buy certain items and these were gone when I went back on the next day.
I saw some 'princess' combs ('blinged' with crystals) were sold in some stores in Far East Plaza at a relatively high mark-up. A closer look, it resembled the same comb that I've purchased from a famous retail chain (sans the crystals)
I do have those combs and these comes in various sizes. Apart from combs, I'm obsessed with hand-held mirrors such as Kitty without a mouth versions and those that have the shape of a flower. If you could see, these items are still in their plastics coz I'm gonna keep them rather than to use it.
BTW, these are bought at a relative cheap price each and from different branches located in Singapore. Have yet to visit all of them that are dotted round the island. It seems unbelievable but it's true. Some of these items are sold more than that in other stores. During this trying, what we need to do is to do some homework as well as compare prices in order to get a good deal.
