Initially, mascaras could do the job of lengthening eyelashes and kept experimenting newer mascaras. However, I wanna more from these products though my lashes are curled.
Recently, I've decided to try on falsies (false eyelashes) after contemplating for awhile coz I didnt know how and have not looked back since then. Slowly, this has turned into a habit and creep into my makeup routine. Nowadays, I feel so naked without wearing them especially when I'm wearing heavy makeup.
I do know that some ladies would prefer to go for eyelash extensions instead of putting on falsies coz of convenience. But such treatment dont come cheap and the effect is not lasting as well as undesirable. Yes, it does give a 'mascara-ed' look but for some, it give a 'shocked' effect instead. Well, my preference is a cheaper alternative - buying falsies.
Falsies are great tools to change into different looks and it can turn one into a diva. There are so many step-by-step tutorials on the net to choose from. One is spoilt by the choices. Being an amateur in applying makeup, the net is a good choice to pick up the techniques. Even the local blogger XX got into the bandwagon of having her own tutorial videos.
Nowadays, there are many stores that caught on this trend and sell these in boxes. However, the price is relatively expensive and I'm not referring to the branded ones such as Shu Uemura where they have a lashbar. I'm constantly on a lookout for nicer but cheaper falsies coz a normal falsies (made in China) could only last approx of 5 wears. However, a Korean brand claims that its falsies could last 20 wears. If this is true, could anybody verify this? Have yet to try out some of the more expensive brands. If there are any recommendations, please let me know.
Right now, I simply love my falsies and on a lookout for more fanciful ones. Have fun in experimenting your looks!
PS : I love drama-rama type of eyelashes to complement smoky eyes.
