Fashion tights as pants?

This is another descriptive entry again. Believe me, I'm trying hard to get my hands on a laptop is difficult enough and getting one that has bluetooth is virtually impossible. Please bear with me.
Wearing sports or ballet tights are fine. But I dont fancy the sight of derriere hanging out (no matter how tight is it) or worn under a long tee. If some criticize those who wear shorts and flops (btw, i do wear them coz these are one of the most comfy combi during summer and mine are berkins) look like they are going to market, then those who are wearing the long tee with tights does nothing to flatter their wonderful figure.

There are some of the fashionistas who can carry this look well while the majority's looks do not turn out right.I dont know what's your take in this but I do find it's rather a bit difficult to swallow. Perhaps, I've seen too many of them wearing this combi and these turn out so wrong. I know 80s trend is back and in rage right but there are some elements not worth following coz it's simply horrifying!

IMHO, I think that wearing them under dresses or denim skirts do look okay but not under tees. It's just look weird and some of them wear the footless version. Hence, their legs appear to have several sections instead of continuity. Some of them wear it with heels thinking that this is fashionable.

Besides, Uniqlo has categorised tights as inner wear and the definition of inner wear is clothing, such as lingerie, designed to be worn next to the skin.

Perhaps, some of you are glad that this hideous chapter of their lives are over and happy to move on.

Personally, I dont think I will indulge in this particular 80s trend too soon or even the near future. BTW, to wear fashion tights and still look good, one may choose to wear it at 60% of your leg length so that your calves will look better.

PS : The general rule of thumb is what looks good in pictorial ads does not necessary good for normal everyday people coz most of them isnt a size 0.
