Stolen time

Hey readers, I'm sorry that I hadnt been blogging for awhile coz was involved in a project and now began to regret about the whole involvement. Simply for the fear that I may jeopardise my future career. Well, that's another story.

Did an entry about cheap watches that I've purchase and how pleased I was with my buys. Decided to wear one of the SGD 2.80 watches during the project coz I didnt wanna spoil my other watches. The team leader of this project thought it was inappropriate to wear that watch thinking that it reflected status instead of otherwise. However, his expression soon changed into shocked when I told him that it costed me merely a SGD 2.80 when he thought it was SGD 280.

His shocked expression with his mouth wide open was priceless (just like the Mastercard ads). I was laughing myself off coz it also reflected that things that are economically priced can still looked presentable. With my current economic situation, buying a SGD 2.80 watch is nothing unusual. Here is the watch that made the point and made an auntie wanting to grab it from the SA when she saw it.

Well, SL is calling me being more auntie. Sigh! Perhaps, this is the way an auntie would shop.
