This was my outfit for that day and the shoes were rather uncomfortable after wearing them for a long day. (Gatchaman T: Uniqlo/Jeans : Queensway Shopping Centre/ Shoes : Lacoste)

Decided to catch an earlier movie, The Proposal. According to SL, it was chick flick but I liked it. Sandra and Ryan were gorgeous and cute on-screen. Enjoyed the show.
After the show, SL wanted to go to Suntec to catch STGCC. STGCC was held in Suntec from 14 - 16 Aug 2009. Seriously, toys are money making business in recent years and adults are more willing to buy them coz they have more spending power.
When we decided to go, we were still at Somerset and I was too lazy and broke to travel there. A good thing was we managed to get on the free shuttle bus to Suntec that was provided by Magnum. Hooray for money saved in transport but no complementary ice-creams were given.
It was not very crowded coz we went there in the evening. Managed to see a couple of these 'who's who' such as Shigeru Imamura of Dokuronoko, Ugly Dolls creator David Horvath, Gary Baseman of Hot Cha Cha Cha (he was located at the end of the hall) and Tanpopo by Camilla d'Errico. Saw a couple of local as well as foreign artists as well and was looking at the Blythe dolls which SL found them 'evil-looking'.
This was so out of context but was wondering why design schools were located in the same convention apart from showcasing their talents.
Anyway, couldnt spend much coz i'm super broke. The rest were rather expensive but managed to buy an 'autographed' skull from Mr Imamura. That's the most that I could afford at this moment.
Ugly dolls costed SGD 5 each and SGD 15 for 4 dolls. I really wanna purchase Hot Cha Cha Cha figurine but it costed like SGD 150 which was way out of my budget. SGD 20 for a wallet by Camilla D'Errico. Well, I couldnt find Simone Legno as he left earlier. Anyway, didnt buy any more Tokidoki products after the purchase of the 1st generation in collaboration with Le Sportsac. Didnt like the pictures after generation 1. Had encountered a young girl who thought that she's the only person who got that sticker from Tokidoki and tried to hid it from my view. Very childish! I had the same sticker that shown here. Duh!
Had also met a couple of frens when we were in the convention and this particular old acquaintance. Was glad that she's doing very well in this business. After visiting the convention, we decided to leave for dinner. A guy actually asked where did I get my Uniqlo Gatchaman T. Of course, I was absolutely thrilled that people actually noticed that. Yah!
Here are the pictures of the mural and others.
PS : Got a couple of posters of Hello Kitty (those that are in the toys slot machines) at no charge. Whoppee! :)
