Tights / leggings for men? Anyone?

Picture from http://geraden.blog-city.com/historic.htm

Do you guys mind wearing leggings / tights ?

In history, men did wore tights to keep themselves warm. Even today, there are many men who wear them for other reasons.
When I was in town today and saw a couple of guys wearing tights but they were not exactly wearing what these guys are wearing.
To be exact, they were wearing leggings with T-shirts only and I recalled one of them was wearing a pink pair of tights. It's so not manly but femmy and it's PINK. I understand androgyny dressing is a 'in' thing at this moment and they were very skinny. If they want to attract people's attention, I think that they might have left a bad aftertaste.

I do experiment with fashion trends but some of the clothes are simply not meant for 'ordinary' people whose dress sizes arent 0. What looks fabulous in on runway does not always look good on everybody, so do it with caution and understand your body well.
To me, the androgyny look is not for everybody. Yes, it's great to see creative in people's dressing but sometimes, your fashion sense could only end up as disaster. BTW, I do like what those guys wear on the website. These guys (who wore pink color tights) should do more research on how to wear tights / leggings.
As mentioned, as a guy would you wear tights / leggings as part of your dressing?
PS: If you are a guy, please tell us how you feel.

I'm male and a cyclist. Almost everyone accepts skin tight shorts, knickers, leggings (tights) when doing a sport activity.

I'm so comfortable in them and not embarrassed.

But when it's not a sport activity, it's a different story.

Women can wear mens clothes in public without anyone saying anything or staring at them. but not the other way around.

It's more unfair to the women because it is inferred that to wear men's clothing is acceptable because men are better and stronger and thus worthy of emulation. While for a man to wear women's clothing it is inferred that women are weaker, lesser creatures and thus unworthy of a man to lower his stature by dressing in said clothing.

I have seen guys in leggings with shorts over them. It looks good.

I think everyone should dress however they want.

Yes, I've seen guys wearing leggings with shorts ~ looking good. However, those guys were not wearing shorts underneath the tshirts and just by itself if I recalled correctly. Hence, imoh it's a fine thin line between class and crass.
