Dior & YSL - Not bags but in small packages

Currently, I'm still in the mood to blog about my favs and the following items featured are not current but are my favourites 'branded' accessories. Most of them have yet to be seen in daylight except for the bracelet.

So far I've a couple of wearable makeup (3 from Dior and the other is from YSL).
Each year, Dior’s creative team comes up with innovative, limited edition palettes that create demands among the die-hard beauty collectors. I'm not an exact die-hard as I do have a limited budget. Hence, I have to choose my buys carefully. These were bought and remained unused till the makeup is spoilt. The problem is I never use the makeup in the charm at all and simply love the designs.

Now, here are my babies in full glory.

My very first item is Dior Gourmette Lip Gloss Bracelet and it is inspired by Dior Gourmette line of jewelry. The silver-plated chain bracelet has an embossed Dior nameplate and I chose the Street Charm version. I simply love the bracket and thought this looks lovely on my wrist.

The second item is Christian Dior - Dior Pretty Charms Secret Lip Gloss (Limited Edition) . It is a Swarovski crystal embellished heart-shaped locket that can be attached to your handbag or as a charm bracelet on its own.

YSL had came out with an awesome rhinestone and gold bracelet with an elegant black band and embossed logo. Simply love it and this is my one and only from this brand.

The final accessory is launched early this year and is the exact replica of Lady Dior bag with the letters of D.I.O.R. Take a look at this picture and you will know why I'm smitten by this compact and it's the only Dior 'bag' that I could afford to own at this moment. Have yet to use this compact and it's still in it's original packaging.

Many people will think that these items are a waste of money.
To me, this is one of the easier modes for brands to expand their fan base. Not many women will reject the idea of spending money on beautifying themselves. After using the makeup, these items serve another purpose such as accessories. Owning pieces of these accessories doesnt require one to fork out 'big money' as compared to spending on their bags.
As for these companies, it is a good way to convert non-fans into worshippers of these brands. Lastly, the words 'limited edition' enhance the exclusivity of owning these pieces. These brands totally 'understand' the vanity in a woman like me who is willing to fork out money to own these little cuties.
Yes, I'm shamelessly vain when it comes these limited editions. :P

Thanks, luv! The only accessory that I've used is the bracelet and the lip gloss is practically unusable. Sigh! Cheers! See you around. :)
