Sunday marked the end of fun

Had met up with another gf, L for coffee on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Didnt have much sleep coz reached home in the morning and had a meeting at 10am.

After our coffee, we decided to shop and she mentioned to me that there was a shop that sold the nail polishes and eye shadows at a relatively cheap price. However, I got 1 eyeshadow only. Went to my fav parallel import shop to look for clothes. To my surprise, they had a couple of Liverpool t-shirts and got 1 for SL so that he could wear this T-shirt when he's watching the match this coming Sunday. Then went to a bookshop to check on more freebies and bought a couple of the mags.

Went Cotton On to check on their discounted racks before heading home via the public transport. Saw this top that I would like to get. However, I'm very particular about the cut of the print and the rest had a white line running across at certain parts of the top. This was the best piece of the lot.

Here are pictures of my prized possessions (one of the pictures was used in my previous entry) and I think I've a huge problem to curb my spending habits.

PS : The Bourjois lippies and Revlon are freebies from the newest mag in town. Not disappointed to get items coz I'm experimenting nude lips at this moment.

I luv freebies

This is one of those things that I'm sure. It started with queuing up early in the morning to collect these freebies. Whether it's tickets or products (even bags), I had that determination to do so. As I grew older and encountered economics, I felt that it was a waste of my time to do this and had lost my interest.

The only one attraction that I've at this moment is the freebies that comes with the mags. Not even those trial products that comes together with the mags but those freebies that are only available when you purchase the fash mag in certain outlets.

Well, I do understand that there are some of forms of contra deals and me being a consumer do benefit from these form of advertisements.

Well, you may think that I'm crazy and trying to imagine the amount of the stuff that is accumulated. Well, I could only say that it's for you to guess. Am I being cheapskate? Dun think so coz I have seen consumers doing weird things just to get freebies such as jumping queues and creating commotions. Just that some of them do not wanna come clean with this 'hobby'.

Here is a peek of some of the items that I have gained such as a clutch and cosmetics. Btw, it's a Korean brand called Laneige. In my humble opinion, some of the Korean brands have earned places in the international arena in terms of technology and innovation as well as quality and Laneige has done it.
