031209 : Driven to boredom

Went to Starbucks and realised it was their Open House. Got my free frup and this happened from 5 - 7 pm at any Starbucks.

It's also the opening of Uniqlo in 313 Orchard. Oh gosh, it's crowded with lotsa people. However, I didnt queue up to go in but went there later in the night. Wanted to buy a black turtleneck sweater but I did looked ugly especially when I'm plus-sized and not exactly flat-chested. Hence, I looked pudgy. Gave up on this item though the basket was completely filled with this item.

Besides, there were other items on sale such as jeans and parkas. The jeans sizes offered were too small for me and decided to look for a plain parkas. Couldnt find the female version but ended with a male version. Loving it!

Those items on sale had the 60th Anniversary tag and below is the gray simple parka that I've picked up at SGD 9.90 only.

PS : Went down to 313 Orchard today (6th December) and it was crowded. The picture below probably explained the traffic volume in this new store. Of course, I didnt wait as there was a long queue and it's probably due to the steep discounts for some of the items offered for the store opening.
