Zirca ~ Not my playground?

When we arrived in Zirca, there was a queue streaming and all of them were holding an e-flyer. I was not aware whether we were on the guests' list though had given the details to SL's brother. In the end, we had to queue. When we reached the door host, she was giving the "Why didnt you print the e-flyer" look. Hi, I knew you are doing your job but you neednt give that (F-censored) face.

Perhaps, these clubs' attitude may change if I'm an angmoh. Hey, wake up and smell the coffee! In this economic crisis, the angmohs are cutting down their spending and not many of them are on expat terms anymore. The locals are the ones that are your paying customers.

It's only when we mentioned our names, then her attitude changed. Damn! All the time wasted to queue coz somebody's unsure whether we were on guests' list. Dah!

It was crowded and packed with men coz it was a female event. You could really see all the closet fans including the geeks, office workers,'uncles'. Was trying to look for a table to drop my bag and found one. It's 'our' table and of course, it was occupied by some other 'uninvited' people though it was reserved. There were no chairs left and were taken by anybody who could get their hands on. No prize for guessing. Yucks x2 and do think that SGans have this funny false idea of ownership. From the connecting table, there was a lady who smiled sheepishly. Perhaps, she knew that the tables were reserved and her group was occupying one of the tables. I'm oblivious. Soon, we saw another group of guests who were on the same guests' list. Hooray! More people joined into our table.

When the event ended, so did the crowd. We stayed on for awhile till we saw my frens and asked them to join us. After all, they needed a 'table'. When their orders arrived, one of them apologised. I was like why apologised since your group of frens was larger than mine and occupied the majority of table. Of course, the same 'false' impression of ownership came into picture again when one of their guys tried to grab the chair that I was sitting. Yup, this group of 'frens' are absolutely not in my inner circle. Basically, what they wanted was the space that we were occupying.

Anyway, had left the club early to adjourn elsewhere coz it was boring. Perhaps, I'm getting old and still prefer my old 'playground' though had missed Above and Beyond. Thought the club could handle the reserved places better though there was security to the VIP side. Well, it's discriminating coz they had figured that those in reserved places maynt spend as much as those in VIPs. Well, I'm not putting my moolah in this club!

That's all, folks!
